We come from the dark matter of the universe to grow inside the womb and then to lose ourselves in the light of the birth, but our true habitat is the abstract, that abstract which we desperately try to make concrete and to frame into definitions. Anima is our way home.

I don't love phrases as "grey is the new black". Nothing is old and nothing is new in the real timelessness. Primitive could be avant-garde (and vice versa) when it is born in an authentic way. Here below you can see the presentation of my first ICON (iconic dress) - primitive because of its simplicity, but avant-garde because it is born beyond the perception of time. Its idea is to catch the eternity in a form.
THE DRESS THAT CATCHES THE LIGHT (2015) is an iconic peplos dress - wearable art. Connected with the BURNING SMELL OF AUTUMN (raw painting/collage, 2014) its cauterized hand-made holes are symbols of maturity - the capacity to realize that "it's not the bullet that kills you, it's the hole" (cit. ... but my first peplos isn't born in that exclusive way. I created it in the summer of 2012 for myself, spontaneously, it was made of plain grey viscosa jersey. I just needed something extremely comfortable of a good quality able to underline in the most natural way the divine nature of the feminine beauty. Its simplicity has become a magnet to the passersby wherever I had the occasion to go. I started to test it by changing the shape, the finishings, the material. Then I made it bespoke for several private clients. Today I personally wear mainly my own peplos in every season. The highest quality of the fabrics I use transforms this timeless silhouette in your best friend that embraces you faithfully with the sense of absolute freedom. Its loose shape is destined to complete your body, but leaving you free to express yourself shaping it with your movement.
