Kristina Nikolova (b. 1980, Varna, Bulgaria) is an interdisciplinary artist based in Florence, Italy. Her practice moves across photography, textile-based works, sculptural form, text, and site-specific installation.

She enacts on materials what time enacts on the existence: layering, fracturing, burning, dissolving. Forms appear and recede. The gesture exceeds its frame. What remains becomes meaning.
